The 2nd COST Action TD1002 Summer School offers introduction to Atomic Force Microscopy in Life Sciences and Medicine for PhD students, post-docs or young scientists.
Lectures in the morning are complemented by hands-on experiments in the afternoon (four days).
The scope covers introduction to AFM technique, imaging of biological objects, proteins unbinding/unfolding, cell rheology.
There are about 24 places for students doing hands-on experiments. Participants are encouraged to send a CV and a motivation letter.
AFM beginners are welcome.
The registration fee for the AFM Summer School is 670€ for academics (1200€ for others).
Fee covers accommodation, full board, training and hands-on experiments (consumables).
